  2. Get shallots, unpeeled
  3. Take Oil, as required

Instructions to make Ah Ma Sambal:
  1. Wash and soak dried chilli, till soften - at least 2 hours.
  2. Peel shallots. In blender, combine chilli and shallots, blend till smooth. Add abit of water to make it smooth.
  3. Heat up wok at medium heat and add oil to prepare to fry.
  4. Once oil is heated, add blender mixture. Fry till there is almost no more moisture and oil is released, approx 30mins. Add some more oil to aid frying, if neccesary.
  5. When colour darkens, add salt and sugar. Mix well, and voila!
