- Place a ring or hot pot stand over the salt, cover kadai or cooker and begin to heat it on a medium flame.
- Making cake batter : Add butter, sugar, Essence in a mixing bowl, with a wired whisk continuously stirr well until sugar dissolves. Now add milk, egg and whisk again.
- Now add flour, baking Powder, baking soda, lemon juice, in a batter gently mix until flour is just combined well.
- Pour this to the cake tray. Knock it a few times to the counter.
- Place the cake tray inside the cooker or kadai on top of the ring. The kadai or cooker has to be hot inside.
- Cover the cooker or kadai with lid and bake for 40 to 50 min. On a low flame.
- When the cake is completely baked, a tester inserted comes out clean.
- The cake top will be fairly dry when you touch it, if it is still moist then bake for few more min.
- Making a frosting : In a large mixing bowl using wired whisk beat the butter on medium speed untill smooth, add powdered sugar and mix well.
- Add heavey cream, vanila essence, salt and continue mixing on medium - high speed. Mix everything well.
- For decoration : on the cake spread sugar syrup. And apply the frosting cream all the side on cake. Now simmer coconut grated powder around the cake. After applying coconut powder fill the piping bags then begin applying swirls, roses and decorate on top with cherry.
